Looking for Homo Circularis

10. February 2021, 8:00 - 17:00 CET

How individual mindset can drive Circular Society

What does it mean to become a Circular Society? Cognitive elements in answer to how to learn circular behavior and homo circularis.

In the current economy, many people are committed to a consumerist role: Above all, they should buy and consume, practices such as doing it yourself, sharing or repairing are more difficult than facilitated. In the Circular Society, people should be enabled to participate in production systems, transparency, autonomy and accessibility are in the foreground. But which skills, orientations and everyday practices characterize a typical “homo circularis”? How can the transformation also take place at the level of biographies and everyday life and household management? The session deals with the role of humans in the circular society and develops paths to homo circularis.
